At arrival, I experienced clear direction to the check-in desks and auto-check-in kiosks. Personnel were friendly and ready to serve right away. Even when one of the passengers in front had special luggage problems, the KLM staff dealt with it graciously. Security screening was quick, and I liked the clean restrooms and waiting area close to the gate. There was no boarding group confusion, and announcements were on time and audible. The gate agents made the boarding process run smoothly, and the plane left right on time. I also appreciated how tidy the terminal was in comparison to some I've passed through — spick-and-span floors, charging points, and convenient access to food courts. All in all, it seemed like KLM knew well what travelers require — clarity, efficiency, and real hospitality. I would definitely fly once more through JFK Terminal 4 if all my experiences were so easy and pleasant.
